Public movements have started appealing to Yamshchykova with a demand to reinstate Vlada Spivak and stop the pressure on the opposition.
In Poltava, despite everything, civil society is emerging, unafraid to stand up for the truth and support the fight for the rights of ordinary people. In recent days, numerous public organizations, churches, international movements, and their leaders have reached out to us with offers of support and words of encouragement. We are beginning to publish their positions.
We bring to your attention the appeal of a public organization that unites hundreds of families with children with disabilities. We present their appeal to you.
Appeal to the Poltava City Council and Yamshchykova!
Public Organization "Interaction of Poltava Region"**
Dear Kateryna Yamshchykova and members of the Poltava City Council!
On behalf of the public organization "Interaction of Poltava Region," which unites hundreds of families with children with disabilities, we appeal to you with a demand to immediately stop the arbitrariness related to the dismissal of Vlada Spivak, a person who undoubtedly deserves respect and support from the city authorities.
Vlada Spivak, Deputy Director of the Department of Economics and Investments and Head of the Strategic Development Department, has made a significant contribution to the development of our community and the protection of the rights of families raising children with disabilities. She actively worked on the implementation of social programs, assisted our organization in matters related to the education of children with special needs, organized hippotherapy for children, and much more. Thanks to her efforts, hundreds of families received the necessary support. Additionally, Vlada Spivak ensured that hospitals and local administrative offices in Poltava were provided with generators, caring for the community.
However, instead of supporting Vlada Spivak, the city authorities decided to dismiss her after she criticized the luxurious lifestyle of city council officials and proposed transferring official vehicles to the frontline for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as criticized the corruption of Poltava's authorities in the procurement of drones.
This decision is not only unjust but also harmful to the entire community.
We demand that the Poltava City Council and personally Kateryna Yamshchykova immediately reverse the illegal dismissal of Vlada Spivak and reinstate her in the position she rightfully holds. Your decision should be driven not by political ambitions and petty intrigues but by concern for the interests of the community, especially those who are most in need of support.
Do you still talk about accessibility? It seems that our city is turning into a community hindered by barriers and obstacles such as you and your team. We will send this and other letters to the President's Office, the government, international public movements, and organizations.
What you have done, Ms. Yamshchykova, is a crackdown on the opposition, and it resembles, even copies, the actions of Russia's leadership and their tyrannical regime. Everyone in the city understands: you sought revenge for opposition, you punished Vlada Spivak because she opened a Center for the Protection of Poltava Residents from Tariffs in her office and because she criticized your procurement of drones at double the price!

Appel au Conseil municipal de Poltava et à Yamshchykova !**

Au nom de l'organisation publique "Interaction de la région de Poltava," qui réunit des centaines de familles ayant des enfants handicapés, nous vous demandons d'arrêter immédiatement l'arbitraire lié au licenciement de Vlada Spivak, une personne qui mérite indubitablement le respect et le soutien des autorités municipales.
Vlada Spivak, Directrice adjointe du Département de l'économie et des investissements et Cheffe du département du développement stratégique, a grandement contribué au développement de notre communauté et à la protection des droits des familles élevant des enfants handicapés. Elle a travaillé activement à la mise en œuvre de programmes sociaux, a aidé notre organisation dans les questions liées à l'éducation des enfants aux besoins spécifiques, a organisé l'hippothérapie pour les enfants, et bien plus encore. Grâce à ses efforts, des centaines de familles ont reçu le soutien nécessaire. De plus, Vlada Spivak a fourni des générateurs aux hôpitaux et aux bureaux administratifs de Poltava, prenant soin de la communauté.
Cependant, au lieu de soutenir Vlada Spivak, les autorités municipales ont décidé de la licencier après qu'elle a critiqué le train de vie luxueux des fonctionnaires du conseil municipal et a proposé de transférer les véhicules de fonction au front pour les Forces armées d'Ukraine, et a également critiqué la corruption des autorités de Poltava lors de l'achat de drones.
Cette décision est non seulement injuste, mais aussi nuisible à toute la communauté.
Nous exigeons que le Conseil municipal de Poltava et personnellement Kateryna Yamshchykova annulent immédiatement le licenciement illégal de Vlada Spivak et la réintègrent dans le poste qu'elle occupe à juste titre. Votre décision doit être dictée non par des ambitions politiques et des intrigues mesquines, mais par le souci des intérêts de la communauté, en particulier de ceux qui ont le plus besoin de soutien.
